Regulars mingle with visitors, reinforcing its role not just as a restaurant but as a true local cantina where good food and conviviality meet.

In summary, La Cantina del 15 stands out as a destination that captures the spirit of Verona’s culinary scene. Cosy little restaurant serving excellent dishes. Everything was done perfectly, especially the egg appetizer and the tortellini with braised beef...absolutely divine! Not to be missed if you are in Verona!

La Cantina del 15 is very well located, in front Castelvecchio so perfect for visiting the museum and the bridge in the morning and having lunch. The place is nice, specially the terrace. With regards to the food, we were offered with a tomato soup as starter (aperitif) and we ordered pasta dishes as mains. The dishes were good between 7/10 and 8/10 but the spaghetti with seafood, that was really good (9/10). The only con I see is the amount of food, under the average. With regards to the service, the waitresses were good but, taking into account that there are two floors and was full, an additional person would have made a better service (8/10).

I was on a business trip, so it was a table for one along the street. The street is busy but it’s nice to see people walking back and forth and the vespas and cars. I was happy to not be surrounded by couples in the back garden area of the restaurant. It was a hot day, 35’C and I hadn’t eaten since 12:00 noon back in Münich and it was 7:30ish now. I had the tortelli with braised meat and the amarone reduction. It was great and fresh pasta. The fresh parmesan melted right in and pulled out even more flavour from the wine sauce. I had a side of paprika and for desert the tiramisu. I’m not the biggest eater (191cm and 82kg) but I was hungry and it satisfied my hunger. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal as a single just wanting to have a casual but satisfying taste experience.

The most courteous staff. They were very attentive and accommodating. The food tastes very authentic and so you find more locals coming in to enjoy their meals and drinks together. Everyone else seemed like regulars and they know each other.

We were so lucky to find this restaurant during our first day in Verona. We shared pasta with duck Ragu and the braised beef in red wine with mashed potatoes. Both were fantastic, with good portion sizes. We finished with pear in red wine and gelato, which was absolutely delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance was cozy and enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this great restaurant!

Fantastic meal. We arrived in the hot sun and sat downstairs in the garden. Cool and covered, a perfect spot to relax. The food was delicious. The heavens opened and it poured down but we were cosy under gazebos. All in all a great service, food and value.
